Our client in Stellenbosch is seeking a highly skilled Temp Accountant for an 8-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in an accounting role, with strong knowledge of Pastel and advanced Excel skills. A Degree in Accounting or a relevant Bookkeeping qualification is required, along with expertise in reconciliations and a high level of accuracy in all financial tasks. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of 5+ years in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Pastel and advanced Excel skills
- Degree in Accounting or relevant Bookkeeping qualification
- Expertise in reconciliations
- High level of accuracy in all financial tasks
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
DUTIES: - Prepare full accounting reconciliations, including creditors' reconciliation
- Allocate payments and manage creditors' accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle petty cash reconciliations
- Update the books daily on Pastel
- Assist with generating financial statements and reports
HOURS: - Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
