Key Responsibilities:
Lead the gallery's day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of exhibitions, events, and administrative functions.
Develop and execute the gallerys strategic vision, focusing on curating exhibitions that reflect the gallerys mission and vision.
Cultivate relationships with artists, curators, collectors, and art institutions to expand the gallerys network and reach.
Oversee gallery marketing and public relations efforts, including social media, press releases, and advertising.
Manage gallery staff, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
Coordinate logistics for exhibitions, including installation, lighting, and event planning.
Maintain financial oversight of the gallery, including budgeting, sales, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in gallery or museum management, with a strong background in contemporary art.
Passion for art and the ability to engage with artists, collectors, and visitors in a meaningful way.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff development.
Strong networking abilities and an extensive understanding of the art world.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in gallery management software and digital tools.
A degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or a related field is preferred.
