Residence Manager to oversee the management and operations of a dynamic student accommodation property in Kimberley.
Key Responsibilities Operational Management of Property and Facilities - Oversee building and grounds maintenance to ensure optimal conditions.
- Manage third-party service providers and contractors.
- Conduct regular property inspections, handovers, and walkabouts.
- Ensure compliance with OHS standards and all relevant policies.
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance via MyBuildings, PIMS, and Rise systems.
Student Management - Engage with students to address needs, queries, and evaluations.
- Oversee application processes, intake procedures, and vacate processes.
- Ensure compliance with housing rules and address student misconduct.
- Collaborate with the Student Life Officer (SLO) on student events and programs.
Financial and Administrative Oversight - Assist with budget management and expense tracking.
- Compile and present monthly management reports.
- Manage access control and maintain asset registers.
Student Liaison and Support - Mentor students and foster positive relationships.
- Address student complaints in collaboration with the SLO.
- Handle administrative duties, including signage, filing, and audits.
Student Intake Coordination - Lead team efforts for inspections and readiness during intake periods.
- Oversee maintenance resolution and assign duties to Promoters/Interns.
✨ Minimum Requirements - Experience: Minimum of 6 years of property management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Student Accommodation Expertise: Experience in student accommodation management is essential.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Thorough understanding of property management and student accommodation procedures.
- Knowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements.
