CPT | Permanent | On-site Key responsibilities / main job duties: - Assembly: Building electronic components or systems according to technical specifications, which includes mechanical assembly.
- Testing: Conducting tests on electronic components and systems to ensure they function correctly. This may involve using testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing issues in electronic systems that do not meet specifications or fail during testing.
- Quality Control: Inspecting electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
- Documentation: Keeping detailed records of production processes, test results, and repairs for quality assurance and traceability.
- Collaboration: Working with engineers, quality control personnel, configuration management and other technicians to resolve issues and improve production processes.
Candidate requirements: - Minimum National Diploma in Electrical of Electronic Engineering
- Proficiency Microsoft Word and Excel
- Electronic circuits and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- T he ability to diagnose and repair issues in electronic systems
