Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a highly experienced Financial Superintendent for a mining company. As the Financial Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing financial reporting and analysis, and providing financial insights and guidance to the management team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Analyse financial data and provide key insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize efficiency. Provide guidance and support to the finance team, including professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve communication. Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to maintain financial stability. Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve financial performance. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in finance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certification (., CPA, CMA) preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or similar role. Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership and management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy.
