Financial Operations Manager - Phalaborwa - Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shareblock Financial Specialist to work in our financial department at Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment, located in the heart of Limpopo. This prestigious Private Game Reserve is dedicated to providing exceptional wildlife experiences and conservation efforts.
Salary: R500,000 - R700,000 per annum (negotiable)
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the Shareblock, ensuring seamless management and governance.
- Manage payroll and staff benefits efficiently
- Oversee financial management and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate debtor and creditor records
- Monitor banking and cash flow to optimize financial performance
- Implement stock control measures to minimize losses
- Accurately record asset register and depreciation
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage
- Prepare VAT returns and IRP5 documents on time
- Organize and maintain member files
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA is highly desirable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial role
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
