Drive the implementation and management of R&D offshoring in EMEA by coordinating offshore technical capabilities, aligning them with core R&D needs, and promoting collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of R&D offshoring in EMEA
- Identify, manage and coordinate the R&D offshoring topics as well as the measurement of the quality and success of offshoring
- Responsible for Improvement and Change Management
- Interface to the offshore partner as well as India Offshoring Vice President
- Identify offshore technical capabilities and align them with our R&D Core capabilities
- Promotion and Support of Offshoring in EMEA
- Strong stakeholder management in R&D as well as with other departments, especially Quality and Regulatory
- Create and update offshoring guidance in collaboration with global stakeholders and train the R&D Team
- Design a demand planning process/tool in cooperation with project management office and global R&D stakeholder
- Planning and controlling of budget and resources
- Audit support in the context of R&D Offshoring
- Successfully finished degree in Engineering or another technical field or, alternatively, experience as a Project Manager with a technical background
- Several years of experience in development of medical devices
- Experience with Change Management or Project Management for cross-functional projects
- Preferably experience in the field of Offshoring, explicitly in India
- Experience in developing and regulated devices under Design Control (21 CFR 820), ISO13485, ISO14791, MDR and knowledge of applicable regulations
- Good communication skills in German and English
- Hands-on mentality and energetic self-starter with strong executive presence and results orientation
