Purpose of the job
Enhance marketing strategies, including predictive customer analytics and personalised marketing communications. This role is pivotal in driving our marketing strategy through data-driven insights and innovative media solutions. Driving thought leadership around usage of data and understanding of our consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive media strategies that align with business goals and drive brand awareness.
- Market Research and Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer behaviors. Translate data into actionable insights.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead the development of innovative marketing campaigns and media solutions. Experiment with new media channels and technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, and creative departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns. Provide regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Agency Collaboration: Work with all agency partners to drive innovation and creative excellence on all touchpoints. Maximize and improve breakthrough communications on all consumer-facing platforms.
- Budget Management: Oversee media budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on best practices in media planning and marketing analytics.
Job Requirements
1. Education:
- A relevant and recognized Bachelor’s, Honours or post-graduate qualification in Commercial/Marketing.
2. Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, media planning, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in media and marketing.
- Strong project management skills.
