About the Marketing Business Development Coordinator position
The Business Development Coordinator position is to ensure that new developments or client groups are taken through the new development procedure to ensure the success of the new product.
Business Development Coordinator responsibilities are:
- New Project Development
- Demonstrate solutions to prospective customers
- Facilitate GAP workshops internally and externally
- Document business problems, requirements, and minutes of meetings held
- Compile quotation and present to the client
- Implementation
- Assist with planning new implementations and data conversions required
- Compile and present sign-off documentation to the new client
- Manage documentation generated during the process
- Share documentation with all relevant stakeholders, according to RACI document
- Feedback
- Provide regular feedback to the customer including estimated delivery time of new requests
- Assist developers and other technical staff to solicit information where required
- Provide feedback to managers on current projects and their status of importance
- Closing and Escalating Tasks
- Present and get sign-off on new projects completed
- Populate the lessons learned document
- File NPD documentation electronically
- Ensure documentation is available for marketing material
- Reporting
- New Product Development life cycle
- Ad-hoc reports on request
- Client project report
- Compile Exco CRM report
Business Development Coordinator requirements are:
- Grade 12 certificate or Equivalent N3
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Agile methodology experience (preferable)
- Relevant project coordination experience
