Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Service Delivery Manager to join our Information Technology team. As the Project Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's project priorities, portfolio management, project delivery quality, stakeholder management, risk management, and issue resolution. You will play a critical role in enabling project prioritization, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, and decision-making processes. Additionally, you will provide business development and operational support for strategic and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ultimate accountability for service delivery quality, standards maintenance, and risk management for internal and client-facing projects.
- Lead the maturation of the Project Management Office (PMO) role within the company, supporting project and continuous improvement across various business functions.
- Maintain and update the company's priority management process, project management methodology, and templates.
- Develop and provide training, guidance, and support to project managers, PMO Analysts, and project administrators to enhance project management capabilities.
- Contribute to resource forecasting and capacity planning to ensure proper pipeline management.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with quality policies and standards.
- Manage and participate in client Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Oversee project forecasting, costs, and budget management.
- Ensure understanding and management of cross-program dependencies.
- Coordinate project stage gates from initiation to closure and ensure lessons learned are captured.
- Prepare regular status reporting for engagement leadership and stakeholders.
Special Projects:
- Collaborate with the CEO and COO on global projects focused on strategy and organizational transformation.
- Serve as a member of the advisory team for client-facing advisory roles as needed.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management.
- Project Management certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects, including portfolio oversight.
- Experience running a PMO office.
- Experience managing project teams ranging from 5 to 25 people.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining project plans and managing risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
- Strong skills in resource planning and task assignment.
- Knowledge of risk management and resource planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
