We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Project Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis for a period of 3 months in Ealing. As the M&E Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing various building, safety remediation, and retrofit sustainability projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the effective project and contract management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and policies.
- Conduct site inspections and provide progress reports.
- Resolve technical issues and liaise with design and engineering teams.
- Act as the key point of contact for team members and lead customer engagement.
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
- Chair meetings and sign off on task orders and valuations.
- Collaborate with service partners to deliver works programme and achieve contract compliance and quality.
- Deliver excellent levels of customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role managing Mechanical and Electrical projects.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical services.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience with Decent Homes Standard and Lettable Standards.
- Commercially aware with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, construction regulations, and quality control.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable qualifications and memberships:
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field).
- Membership or Associate of professional bodies (e.g., IET, APM, NICEIC).
