Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our clients facility. Our client specialises in producing sustainable packaging solutions to the seafood industry.
This role would suit a mechanical bias engineer with previous experience of managing a maintenance department successfully.
This role is full-time working Monday to Friday 8AM - 16:00PM.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Review and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installations from inception to completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the maintenance department.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in supervising teams effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Logical thinking ability with problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges.
