PRODUCTION MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our factory operations and lead our team to achieve exceptional results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing factory employees, planning and scheduling production, monitoring equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage factory employees: Supervise and motivate a team of approximately 30 employees to achieve production targets.
Production planning and scheduling: Plan and schedule production to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
Equipment maintenance: Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Quality control: Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards.
Health and safety: Ensure a safe working environment and implement health and safety protocols.
Standard operating procedures: Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize production processes.
Budgeting and cost control: Manage budgets and control costs to ensure production targets are met.
Communication and reporting: Communicate with management and provide regular reports on production performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: Qualification in Production and Process management at NQF Level.
Experience: 10 years of experience in an operational managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Leadership skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
