We are seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to join the exclusive Langaro Spa, nestled under Lions Head in Camps Bay.
What you will bring:
- Support Daily Operations: Assist the Spa Manager in managing daily operations at the Spa Front Desk and within the Spa Facilities, ensuring smooth administration and coordination of Spa, Salon, Fitness, and Wellness areas.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Maintain high standards of service delivery, ensuring that all guest interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
- Lead and Train Staff: Oversee staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment that promotes excellence in service.
- Manage Client Relations: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure Compliance: Uphold company standards and health regulations within all spa operations.
Minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Grade 12 or equivalent; qualifications in Somatology (CIDESCO, SAAHSP, and/or ITEC) are advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the spa or beauty industry with at least 1 year in an assistant managerial or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with Opera and ESP systems; knowledge of spa management software is a plus.
- Skills: Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead a team while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to manage conflicts and resolve issues efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
