Workspace Reception Manager with Events
Based in Central London, 38,000 plus benefits, Monday - Friday, business hours with some evenings during the week for on-site events
A distinguished law firm located in the city are looking for a Workplace and Events Manager to provide a friendly and positive internal working environment and deliver facilities support for both internal and external stakeholders.
As the Workplace and Events Manager, you will be responsible for leading the guest services reception team ensuring that guests are welcomed into the building. Your role will involve overseeing the booking and setup of meeting rooms. You will also take lead on event organisation, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and events run smoothly. Additionally, you will liaise with outsourced catering organisations, collaborating to create and deliver tailored menus for events.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Provide immaculate service to colleagues, clients and guests
Ensure all meeting rooms are fully equipped and appropriately set up
Perform Fire Warden duties and site inductions
Assist clients and attend to their needs when and where required
Issue ID and access badges
Ensure working areas within the office are maintained to the highest standards
Liaise efficiently with the facilities and IT team
Complete daily handovers and reports
Flexibility to carry out any other tasks which may be required
Handle enquiries via all channels of communication
Awareness of health and safety and security procedures
Keep accurate records of all checks
Ideal candidate:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a reception team leader
Events experience
An in-depth understanding of what exceptional customer service means
Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft office packages
Positive can-do attitude wanting to go the extra mile
Strong communication skills
Experience with using audio-visuals
