Main Responsibilities
- Weekly replenishment: Responsible for monitoring inventory levels to ensure they remain within set parameters.
- Stock parameters: Ensure agreed service levels are met to fulfill customer demand.
- Inventory planning: Determine optimal quantity and timing of inventory aligned with sales/demand and production capacity.
- Phasing products: Collaborate with sales to phase in and out products effectively.
- Redistribution: Manage redistribution between warehouses and lead inventory optimization initiatives.
- Analytics: Use data to analyze inventory needs and track levels, utilizing reporting tools like Voyager, Power BI, and ERP systems.
- Sales support: Provide expertise to sales regarding inventory levels affecting customers.
- Order management: Capture and track orders from vendors, including shipment tracking.
- Slow moving inventory: Analyze and create plans for slow-moving inventory.
- Logistics definition: Define logistics of goods between Vendor and In-Market warehouses.
- Sourcing alignment: Serve as the point of contact for sourcing-related topics.
- Production planning: Responsible for medium to long-term planning of defined products.
- S&OP contribution: Contribute to Sales and Operations Planning for specific vendors.
- Forecasting: Forecast and procure raw materials from overseas suppliers based on local demand.
Your Profile
- A relevant degree is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the mining sector is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, forecasting, and demand planning.
- Strong analytical skills and root cause analysis capability.
- Ability to implement process changes.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
- Energetic team player.
- Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning processes.
- Experience with forecasting tools.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail.
