Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketer to manage and execute their marketing efforts for their holiday rentals and lodges across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, a passion for travel, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to help us grow our brand and attract clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Social Media & Online Presence : Maintain and update all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Websites) to ensure they are current, engaging, and aligned with the company’s brand and objectives.
- Targeted Marketing : Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at corporate clients, schools, and individual customers.
- Client Engagement : Visit potential clients and partners as required to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends, and use this information to inform marketing strategies.
- Marketing Strategy : Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Develop marketing plans, set objectives, and track results.
- Branding & Creative : Create compelling marketing materials (brochures, advertisements, online content) in line with brand standards. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Reports & Feedback : Submit monthly marketing activity reports, provide feedback on marketing opportunities, and suggest improvements for ongoing campaigns.
- Collaboration : Work closely with sales, customer service, and other teams to align marketing efforts with overall company objectives.
Requirements :
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English (Written and Spoken)
- Relevant Marketing Qualification : A diploma or degree in Marketing or related field.
- Experience : At least 3 years’ experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on hospitality, tourism, or real estate.
- Computer Literate : Proficient in MS Office suite, with experience using reservation/POS programs and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
