Key Responsibilities: - Identify procurement demands and execute the purchase of goods and services to meet operational needs.
- Process and manage purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) management to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Engage with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules.
- Analyze and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure procurement accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance for continuous improvement.
Requirements: - National Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buying role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace sector.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools, with strong computer literacy.
- Familiarity with BOMs and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
