PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Responsible to perform the following on the project within their scope of activity
- Provide material and logistics support to the teams in the customer depots
- Contribute to or Manage (after end of warranty) the field modification implementations
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordination with Depot Team of Depot Logistics in Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement to execute parts
- Ensure set-up of customer depot during mobilization phase (special tools, consignment stock, …)
- Manage consignment / warranty stock over warranty project life time
- Organize and optimize warranty spares repair loop incl. Intervention reports
- Optimize WIP and logistics costs
- Contribute to claims and negotiations with external supplier (regarding warranty)
- Support field modification implementation with material, tools, documentation, qualified resources (if necessary)
- Ensure compliance to standard processes (ISO, EHS)
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Note: The WI SM coordinator (if applicable) has also more general management responsibilities
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- Readiness of depot at opening as well as consignment / warranty stock and specific tools at warranty start
- Cost of WIP
- Repair loop duration
- Readiness of FMI deployments
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
MANDATORY:
- Graduate engineering background with 5 to 8 years’ Industrial related experience in the railway industry or technical background with 8 to 10 years’ experience in a production related position.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- Technical knowledge, either mechanical or electrical / electronics (several years)
- General railway and Product knowledge
- EHS knowledge
