I am exclusively working with a client in Chelmsford, who are looking for a Payroll/ Accounts Assistant on a permanent full-time basis.
The role
This role is a mixture of payment & receipts tasks and bank reconciliations to complete monthly. But also completing the payroll for clients within the team.
Duties will include:- Purchase ledger invoice processing
- Bank Reconciliations for payroll
- Bacs payment files
- Posting and admin for client payroll records
- Client instructions and payroll runs
- Payroll submissions
- Processing pensions
- Dealing with HMRC and queries
To be considered for the role you must have: - Experience of working in a payroll
- Knowledge of payroll systems
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work alone but also suitable to working as a team player
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Understand the importance of confidentiality
- IT literate including basic MS Office skills
