An urgent search is underway for skilled and qualified Code 14 HazChem Drivers to join a dynamic team. Applications are open to individuals of all genders and races who meet the criteria outlined below.
Requirements: - Code 14 Drivers License with DGP (Dangerous Goods Permit).
- A valid HazChem Training Certificate or Dangerous Goods Training Certificate for Road Transportation.
- Clear driving record.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Proven experience driving Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and UD trucks.
- Competence in operating articulated trucks.
- 24 years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities: - Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any faults.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Represent the company professionally by being presentable and engaging with clients courteously.
- Visit client sites as required.
- Load and offload goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with the Road Traffic Act and company policies.
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and road regulations.
- Prioritize the safety of other road users.
- Navigate routes within KwaZulu-Natal and manage long-distance deliveries as needed
