Job Title: Community Needs Assessments Research Officer
Position Overview:
The SayPro Community Needs Assessments Research Officer plays a vital role in understanding and addressing the diverse needs of communities. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments to identify gaps in services, resources, and opportunities, ensuring that programs are tailored to effectively support community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Design and implement surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data from community stakeholders.
- Needs Assessment: Analyze data to identify community strengths, challenges, and unmet needs, producing clear and actionable reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and community leaders to foster partnerships and facilitate outreach efforts.
- Program Development Support: Provide insights and recommendations to guide the development and improvement of community programs based on assessment findings.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring findings are communicated effectively and transparently.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented programs, adjusting strategies based on feedback and emerging community needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
