Introduction
To produce a quality product in line with prescribed specifications by ensuring the efficient run-ability of the entire paper machine, including stock preparation and all related processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient operation of all paper machine sections/processes: Re-winder, Dry End Production, Boilers Manufacturing Operator, Process Controller, and Stock prep controller duties.
- Paper machine operation at all levels and stages.
- Machine and Process monitoring, fault identification, troubleshooting, and reporting to the different disciplines.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, housekeeping, environmental, and quality regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Technical diploma or B-Tech.
- One year experience in the full Paper Manufacturing Process.
- Valid crane and forklift license required.
- Basic technical, electrical, and mechanical understanding and competency.
- Understanding of 5S methodology and RCA analysis.
- Knowledge of OHSA and ISO standards required.
