As RocketDNA continues to expand operations across the country, we are looking for energetic and dedicated drone pilots to join our team of professionals in the aerial survey and mapping space in South Africa.
Responsibilities & Duties
(Including but are not limited to the below)
- Executing and supervising all flights and maintenance activities at the site of operation which includes conducting thorough preparation to fly a drone, completing the relevant documentation and accurate flight planning processes
- Accountable for the safe operation of each RPAS E.g. Conduct a risk assessment before flying the drone etc.
- Conduct aerial surveying using a drone.
- Process flight data and complete documentation
- Submitting flight and maintenance documentation, inclusive of all flight operational documents per flight
- Processing of accurate and timeous data and delivering quality professional services to our clients
- Traveling from Site to Site (on request from the Operations Department)
- Maintaining a high level of compliance with the SA/CAA regulations and requirements by aligning all documentation and processes to RocketDNA’S UOM (RPAS Operations Manual)
- Being a brand ambassador for RocketDNA
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Must have reliable vehicle.
- Valid Driving License
- Rated to fly fixed wing & multi-rotor aircraft.
- Rated on BVLOS (desirable)
Experience
- At least 1 year work experience operating on RPAS sites
