*Job Summary*
We are seeking dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our clients logistics teams in Corby and surrounding. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the cargo throughout the transportation process.
*Pay: *£18.00 - £22.00 ph
*Hours: *Various hours available, Days and Nights.
*Duties*
* Operate vehicle compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
* Load and unload goods, securing it appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety on the road.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with HGV2, is highly desirable.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
* A valid HGV licence is required, along with a clean driving record.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
