As a Class 1 LGV Driver for our Transport Department, you will be responsible for executing bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide.
This role requires operating a modern and well-maintained fleet on agreed shift patterns, delivering to HGV-friendly locations.
Key responsibilities include:
● Executing precise and timely bulk collections and deliveries to maintain operational efficiency.
● Operating and maintaining Class 1 vehicles in accordance with company standards and road regulations.
● Adhering strictly to agreed shift patterns to ensure consistent service delivery.
● Conducting trailer swaps or overseeing live unloading and reloading processes, as per individual customer requirements.
● Ensuring all deliveries and collections are executed with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
● Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for all transport operations.
● Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
● Representing DPD in a professional manner when interacting with customers and the public.
● Reporting any vehicle issues or route concerns promptly to the relevant department.
