Role:Semi-Senior Accountant
Location: Rotherham
Salary: 30,000pa plus 23 days holiday + bank holidays, study support and much more

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Rotherham, is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The Role
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to a broad range of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Client Bookkeeping - Ensuring accurate and efficient records for a variety of clients.
- Portfolio Management Support - Assisting with the management of a portfolio of clients across different industries.
- Preparation of Financial Statements - Drafting basic company financial statements to meet statutory requirements.
- Management Accounts - Preparing interim management accounts to support decision-making processes.
- Tax Returns - Completing personal tax returns and partnership accounts/returns.
- VAT Returns - Preparing quarterly VAT returns to ensure timely compliance.
- Client Interaction - Potential to attend client meetings and liaise with directors and business owners.
- Training Support - Assisting in the training and development of apprentices.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have relevant accountancy experience, within a practice environment.
- Experience of using Sage50, Xero, Quickbooks and other packages would be advantageous
- Be confident in their technical abilities and keen to develop their knowledge further.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
