Qualifications - High school diploma/GED.
- Five (5) years of experience in vehicle and/or equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities - Provides customer service to all employees who operate vehicles and equipment for the City.
- Generates and closes work orders for repairs or breakdowns and assists with coordinating outsourced repair options necessary for City vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
- Facilitates communication between Fleet and user departments concerning repair status, scheduling and completion notification.
- Performs accurate data entry of outside services for vehicles and equipment in the Fleet Management asset tracking system.
- Performs daily and monthly record maintenance duties, monitors and ensures timely preventative maintenance for all City vehicles and equipment, and maintains files and records.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
