Primary Purpose of the Job
The incumbent will be responsible for the Operational Management of the CMM Room, Measurement in-line Systems, Destructive & Non-Destructive and Laboratory areas. The incumbent will be responsible to lead, control and plan the Metrology and Laboratory to meet the organisations' objectives and customer requirements.
Key Performance Areas
- Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibility
- Responsible for the Disciplinary and Technical leadership of the team
- Ensuring the required resources and competencies are in place
- Responsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test results
- Manage engineering change and product evolution
- Manage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM room
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Fully trained experienced CMM Programmer
- Fully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirements
- Fully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&T
- Piwbe, GOM and Zeiss experience
- High Standard of computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communicator

Minimum Requirements
Tertiary Engineering/Trade Qualification
Minimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive environment
Minimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industry
Minimum 3 years within a process engineering discipline.
