HOURS - Double Day Shifts
Monday to Thursday: 5:50am to 1:25pm / 1:25pm to 9:00pm
Friday: 6:00am to 12pm / 12pm to 6pm
Our client is an independent highly innovative printed labels company supplying products to a range of household names within the drinks, brewery, healthcare, cosmetics, toiletries and high street retail markets.
They are currently looking for a Digicon Operator to join their busy label finishing department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and machine aptitude, and work methodically with a process driven mindset. You will play a crucial part in maintaining production quality and working efficiently to optimum performance levels.
Responsibilities:
- To operate the Digicon label press - die cutting and varnishing to a high specification.
- Ensuring performance output meets demanding work schedules.
- Ensuring the quality of labels are finished to the required high standards and expectations of customers.
- Working efficiently with a strong attitude towards continual improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience:
- Proven experience in Digicon label production or other relevant print finishing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and a methodical approach to troubleshooting quality issues effectively.
- Proficient in handling various machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
