General Operative Daventry - NN11 Monday to Friday Full time (Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:15pm & Friday 7am - 1pm) 13.00phTemporary to Permanent (After 12 successful weeks) ACS Staffing Solutions are currently looking for a general operative to work within a production environment, our client has over 50 years of manufacturing experience in fabricated metal products. Our client provides good to a variety of industries including automotive, agriculture, bus, and yellow truck good and general engineering industries.
This role involves general metal working duties and may include operating of plant equipment; you will need to be able to work using your initiative with minimal supervision. The role is varied and busy and you will be expected to think on your feet and be flexible.
Responsibilities of a General Operative:- Material Handling
- Assembling components
- Drilling and Sawing
- Preserving
- Semi-automatic brazing of assemblies
- Spot welding
- Setting and operating tapping machine
- Operating robotic welder
- Pressure Testing components both hydrostatic and air under water.
- Setting and Operating Tapping Machine
General Operative requirements: - Ability to work unsupervised.
- Self-motivated
- Good Attitude
- Methodical and Precise
