Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a CAD Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The CAD Engineer will be assisting the Technical Manager and working as part of a busy team. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings.
As the CAD Engineer you will be required too :
Re-engineer existing designs to meet requirements
Produce designs using Radan to meet product requirements
Produce detailed manufacturing and customer drawings (assembly drawings, Bills of material)
Develop prototypes where necessary
Liaise with Sales & Production departments
Work closely with the technical manager
Update and archive documents
Requirements:
A good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings
A good knowledge of the sheet metal process
Experience of tooling and nesting (turret punch)
Knowledge of SolidWorks
HNC/Engineering disciple
Full driving licence
The desire to develop knowledge and progress
