Job Description
- Understanding briefs and unearthing challenges and opportunities for brand growth.
- Distill simple to complex digital requirements, into clear strategic tasks, identifying the functions, processes and team members required to fulfill a strategy.
- Develop meaningful insights based on good research and understanding of the consumer, product and category context.
- Gather research from various sources of information (desktop research, social listening tools, web analysis tools, brand studies, case studies, audience analysis etc).
- Understand how consumer needs, mind states and behaviours impact decision-making and develop tactics to overcome these and meet objectives.
- Develop strategically sound and innovative ways for ideas, experiences and campaigns to work within the client's business context and brief parameters.
- Direct the strategy brief and collaborate constructively with internal creative, media, social and development teams, as well as interagency and client teams.
- Able to contribute to and articulate different types of communications and digital marketing strategies across different sectors.
- Able to facilitate unsupervised senior stakeholder and industry expert engagements.
- Able to provide thought leadership to the client and deliver valuable strategic input to interagency deliverables.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising.
- Further learning and certifications in Digital Marketing and Strategy advantageous.
- 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing and communications / creative strategy.
- Experience working with banking and financial services brands across B2C and B2B, highly advantageous.
