- Development of HSE Policies: Define and implement HSE policies aligned with current standards and regulations.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Training and Awareness: Organize training sessions to raise awareness among staff regarding risks and best safety practices.
- Incident Management: Investigate HSE incidents, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Reports and Documentation: Maintain updated documents and reports concerning incidents, audits, and inspections.
- Safety Equipment Management: Ensure the availability and proper functioning of safety equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with current regulations.
- Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Periodically assess HSE performance and propose improvement actions.
Required skills - Appropriate HSE qualification
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations specific to the oil and gas sector .
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage HSE policies.
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and awareness-raising skills.
- Teamwork ability and motivation to foster a strong safety culture.
