The Company: A leading Design Consultancy with offices based throughout New Zealand - employing over 100+ staff in the civil, structural, and geotechnical space. We are on the lookout for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team as they continue to grow to new heights. The Role: As a Senior Structural Engineer based in Queenstown, you will be designing and overseeing the 360-degree management of projects while establishing and maintaining relationships with high-profile & key clients. Working on commercial and residential projects, this will be focusing on new designs of a small to medium and large scale commercial builds for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the delivery of a wide range of technically challenging and interesting commercial and residential buildings
- Liaising with other key internal and external stakeholders
- Full project management responsibilities and all that entails
- Construction site management to ensure delivery of the design
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Structural Engineer role in NZ necessary to understand seismic codes
- Chartered in NZ (CPEng qualified) is preferred or on the way to gaining
- Residency or permanent residency
