Commercial / Technical / Service Manager - Richards Bay
Position for an experienced Service Manager for a Dealership in Richards Bay.
Ideal candidate should have Commercial/ Trucks/ Technical Experience for this position.

Responsibilities
- Control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhanced customer relations.
- Maximise departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers.
- People management and supervision of staff, including performance management and discipline.
- Ensure the Service Department achieves budget objectives through weekly and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls, and composite figures.
- Ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through labour utilization, productivity, and sales.
- Ensure excellence in customer service.
- Maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales.
- Act as custodian of the Service Department.
- Be a cross-functional team player.
- Ensure adherence to the Franchise Agreement.
- Adhere to workshop policies and procedures.
- Comply with FIC and FAIMS policies.
- Take personal responsibility in complying with policy on ethical business conduct and behaviour and report any contraventions to senior management.
- Adhere to Occupational and Safety regulations.
Experience & Qualification - NON NEGOTIABLE
- Matric.
- Qualified Diesel Technician.
- Relevant post-matric qualification in Management will be an advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant technical commercial vehicle industry experience is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant workshop management experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
- Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive.
- Fully computer literate.
- An effective understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
- An effective understanding of relevant technology and systems.
- An effective understanding of the Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Acts.
