An established agricultural plant nutrition production business is seeking to employ a Production Supervisor on a permanent basis in Wellington. The production supervisor role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production, whilst ensuring the utmost quality of all products. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding local business with a growing international footprint.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and resolve on-site problems
- Support and assist the Production Manager
- Ensure that the end products comply with the specification and quality requirements
- Review and train SOPs in the relevant areas
- Team management
- Ensure that the manufacturing process is punctual and of excellent quality
Requirements
- National Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering will be desirable, BUT NOT essential as experience will count more.
- Chemical product experience will be desirable, but not essential.
- Must be willing to work shifts as required.
