Jnr Institutional Editor – Policy and Compliance (JB4733)

The Institutional Editor is responsible for editing, reviewing, and ensuring alignment of institutional policies, guidelines, and critical documents with the relevant higher education standards and regulations. This role supports the institution’s compliance with national higher education quality standards and plays a key part in maintaining institutional quality assurance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Law, English, or Communications (postgraduate qualifications in Compliance or Policy Studies preferred).
- Experience in editing and compliance within higher education.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and document versioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and review institutional policies, strategic plans, and official documents to ensure clarity and compliance with CHE and QAF standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure documents meet regulatory requirements.
- Provide editorial support for policy development, ensuring new and revised policies comply with national standards.
- Ensure alignment of documents with institutional goals and national educational objectives.
- Manage the editorial workflow for policy documents and coordinate with contributors to ensure timely completion.
Oversee the publication and dissemination of approved policies.
