Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on defects and plant problems
- Perform SHERQ duties according to regulations and standards
- Do standby as per plant schedule roster
- Perform design and welding tasks according to specifications and drawings
- Manufacture and install structures and equipment according to specifications and drawings
- Inspect and maintain structures on an ad hoc basis
- Repair and upgrade damaged structures
- Perform basic rigging tasks
- Ensure quality standard compliance of first line maintenance
- Must take ownership of the plant in order to maintain and improve the condition of plant and equipment
- Conduct inspections and complete Safety Inspection registers
Minimum Requirements
Gr.12/ N3/ NCV3 (NQF 4/10) and Single Artisan or Product Trade
