The purpose of this role is to ensure validity of iBranch and safeguard the company from financial losses. Reviewing of reconciliation clerk tasks and ensuring audit procedures are being correctly followed.

You Bring:
- 1 - 2 years administrative experience advantageous.
- Computer literate.
Advantageous:
- Relevant Diploma / Degree.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 4 years practical internal auditing.
- Pastel evolution knowledge.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
- Categorize daily iBranch transactions into relevant groups for Auditing by reconciliation clerks.
- Ensuring all iBranch transactions are being audited in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Collect and analyse data to detect weaknesses or non-compliance.
- Ensuring all month end reconciliations are being correctly performed and sent through timeously to finance.
- Preparation of the deposits/withdrawals recon and ensuring variances are being resolved.
- Preparation of the weekly Masterfile and ensuring weekly distribution to relevant departmental managers.
- Reviewing of cashbooks prepared by reconciliation clerks.
- Assist in compiling a continuous audit plan for reconciliation clerks.
- Prepare test procedures for continuous auditing program.
- Determine compliance with policies and procedures.
- Flow chart the above procedures.
- Continuously looking to improve efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing learning and developing new techniques.
- Determine scope and approach of audit in conjunction with the Audit Manager.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrections.
- Supervise Reconciliation Clerks during the execution of audits and review of daily audits.
- Prepare appraisal forms for the Audit Manager.
- Establish risk-based audit programs.
- Share relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision making.
- Perform ad hoc assignments as they arise.
- Ensure deadline is met for relevant tasks.
- Assist clerks with training.
- Report findings of material value.
- Ensure department policies are being followed by team members.
