We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in high voltage, termination, and testing services, preferably with experience in both onshore and offshore settings. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who can leverage technical knowledge in high voltage systems to drive growth across diverse sectors, including oil, gas, and renewable energy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing new clients, building lasting relationships, and servicing existing clients across various project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the company's market position by identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
- Identify potential business deals by networking and exploring synergies with partners.
- Increase the client base and drive cash flow.
- Predict, diagnose, and mitigate potential business risks in collaboration with department heads.
- Negotiate service level agreements, framework agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other relevant business structures.
- Manage client contracts, respond to tenders, and stay updated on trends and developments within the construction and work-at-height industries.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in business development and strategic growth.
- Must be technically minded with a degree in High Voltage/Termination & Testing experience, preferably in works done offshore.
- Exposure and expertise in the renewables, power generation, oil and gas industries is an advantage.
- Strong managerial skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel - will travel to Europe, USA, and Taiwan every couple of months.
- Marketing/social media background is an advantage.
- Own vehicle is essential.
