Introduction
Medipost Pharmacy is looking for a professional, disciplined and self-driven individual to join their dynamic IT Team in a capacity of an IT Technician. The successful individual will be placed in Pretoria Gezina.
Primary purpose of the job:
- The responsibility of install and maintain systems and system compliance with staff in Medipost
- Maintenance of hardware and software
- Overtime may be required
- Required to work 2 Saturdays a month
- Network Cabling – on new projects, moves and maintaining
- IT support Hardware, Software, Desktops & Telephones
- Computer, Telephone and other devices moves
- Formatting and setting up, loading software and operational programs of PC’s & Laptops
- Technical assistance via VNC/Telephone
- Scanning in faulty or damage devices to be written off and be destroyed
- Assisting in setting up Mitel phones for new users
- Working through tickets that is logged
- Close tickets with full details
- Logging of tickets to COPFIN for faulty Kyocera printers
- Completing task in expected time frames and accuracy
- Working overtime when needed
- Mapping operational drives
- Loading of config files
- Loading and updating antivirus on systems
- Assist in asset tracking
- Reporting any network errors and problems to Network specialist
- Report any errors or problems that influence incompletion of duties
- Assisting in annual / monthly stock take
- Assist in Technical Helpdesk when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MINIMUM:
- Grade 12
- CompTIA A or other related IT professional certification
IDEAL:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Degree/diploma in IT
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum knowledge of IT
- Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
- Medipost App
- Microsoft office and Windows
- Excel and Word
- Troubleshooting in windows
