Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual design background and excellent communication skills to engage the company's online community and represent the brand at events. In this dual role, you will manage seasonal catalogues, create high-quality visuals, and actively engage with online customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic design - update and design season range catalogues. Develop promotional materials, including banners, ads, and point of sale displays for use across digital and physical platforms. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure visuals support business goals and enhance brand awareness.
- Social Media - management of online conversations, respond to customer queries. Drive online sales. Monitor social media channels, track engagement metrics, and recommend improvements based on customer feedback and interactions.
- Brand representation and events - attend events, interact with customers, and promote products within the community.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Zulu and English is essential.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing social media and marketing materials.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar software.
- Familiarity with social media engagement practices and experience managing online communities.
- Willingness to travel to events and engage with customers directly as a brand ambassador.
