ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years IT Project Management or similar experience of which 6+ must be on custom developed solutions.
- Cloud based project experience.
- Agile working experience.
- Analyse, translate and communicate Logistics requirements.
- Understand systems engineering concepts.
- Understand integration between different technologies.
- Identify, Assess and Mitigate risks.
- JIRA and Confluence.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: - Excellent usage of MS Office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
- Logistics industry experience.
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE? Qualification or 8+ years’ Experience in IT Project Management.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES? - Implement the product vision and roadmap.
- Research, understand and evaluate product requirements on the part of business and translate them into high quality product backlog items.
- Structure and prioritise business requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
- Use various techniques for efficient business process modelling, conceptual prototypes, traceability, and quality management techniques.
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
- Maximizing product value within the available internal/external capacity per sprint and measure performance of these feature teams.
- Steer internal/external consultants and serve as a quality assurance of their deliverables.
- Eliminate impediments for development of the product scope.
- Support troubleshooting, resolving, and closing of Production Support tickets (Incidents & Problems tickets) within defined SLA’s.
- Technically and functionally lead the Feature Teams with Line Managers/Product Owner.
- Align internal and external IT/business stakeholders.
- Create transparency regarding resources, requirements, competencies and implementation status to Products and Domains.
- Define, request, track and, if necessary, escalate the required resources (incl. budget, skills, volume/size of user stories) to the Product Owners for successful implementation.
- Technical escalation to the Product Owner, including facilitating end-to-end discussions with other Product Owners, if necessary.
- Escalation of conflicts, based on user requirements, in the Product vision to the respective Product Owner: system specific for content escalation and all Product owners for capacity escalations.
- Escalate disciplinary issues or non-availability of competencies towards the Delivery Managers of the Feature Teams.
- Adhere to the Agile Working Methodology.
- Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain and content-wise steering of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings, etc.
- Determine acceptance criteria/definition of done and evaluate the developed product scope, decision regarding release or rework in the product backlog.
- Identify improvements to the Product Owner regarding the Product Owner hierarchy, including the Feature Teams as well as all relevant internal functions inhouse and external partners, if necessary.
- Identify improvements in AWM execution towards the responsible Agile Master.
- Support the development, implementation and follow-up of methods, processes and standards for the provision of services in compliance with the law.
Soft Skills - Ability to interpret Business requirements and move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.
- Take consultative approach to challenge customers’ requested solution design, should a better alternative exist.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate effectively (verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users either in the same team or other teams.
- Strong Presentation skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences.
- Willingness and ability to work on weekends and public holidays on implementation and operations (IT Support) related tasks.
