Communications Officer
Our well-established client in Hillcrest is looking for a Communications Officer working from Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:30 pm. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for renewal based on performance.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a public relations or corporate communications role
- Proficiency in FreshDesk or similar customer service management software
- Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to approach customer interactions with diplomacy and empathy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational capabilities
- Priority management
Role Overview:
As a Communications Officer, you will be a crucial part of the team, responsible for representing the brand and maintaining positive relationships with customers, community, influencers, and organisations. You will play a key role in managing the customer careline, community engagement, influencer relations, public relations, and collaborative efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the customer careline, ensuring timely and empathetic responses to customer inquiries and concerns
- Oversee community management efforts, engaging with community members across various platforms and fostering a positive and supportive environment
- Handle influencer management, including identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with influencers aligned with brand values
- Execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
- Collaborate with like-minded organisations on mutually beneficial initiatives and partnerships
