Procurement Coordinator Job Description
The main purpose of the procurement coordinator is to co-ordinate procurement process from internal requirements to receiving the orders at premises.
Procurement and Inbound Duties
- Supplier pricing updates in Acumatica.
- Local and International Purchase order processing with correct incoterms and named places.
- Submit Proforma invoices/order confirmation to Accounts for Cash in Advance Suppliers.
- ETA updates in Acumatica for shipments in transit.
- Notify forwarder/s of shipments for bookings to be made.
- Complete clearing instructions for Customs clearing and check clearing documents for correctness.
- Obtain estimates for freight from forwarders.
- Track and trace international parcels.
- Arrange collection of local supplier orders placed if not delivered by them.
General Responsibilities
- Build multiple contact relationships with suppliers.
- Complete all processes for duties assigned in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Maintain workplace health and safety requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in work methods to increase productivity in department or inter departmental.
- Ensure excellent supplier and customer service.
- Maintain archiving of documents per year.
Office Requirements
- Working hours 8h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.
- Semi-formal dress code.
- Reliable transport to and from the office.
- Excellent language skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Overtime due to inherent requirement of job.
This is a permanent position, subject to a three-month probation period.

Requirements
- Internal training: During the first week of your employment, you’ll be presented with a training plan designed to guide you through your on-the-job training experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric.
- Qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain an advantage.
- Qualification in Procurement an advantage.
