Responsibilities
- Understanding the strategic goals and the supporting business architecture.
- Obtaining and understanding how our information and data assets will be leveraged.
- Determine the application landscape and roadmap required.
- Identify the in place and required technology components.
- Facilitate opportunity identification (bottom-up) through portfolio management activities such as Application Portfolio Management (APM) where Applications are analyzed, categorized, classified, and managed through their lifecycle.
- Support departmental agility, resilience, and enablement by providing timeous and relevant information sets for decision-making.
- Develop ICT strategies, policies, and processes.
- Design technology views and taxonomies.
- Review technology costing and resource allocation.
- Develop technology governance and quality assurance.
- Review and guide enterprise technology standards.
- Perform ICT solutions reviews.
- Contribute to EA framework and governance.
Requirements
- NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualification.
- Must have a valid (not expired) IT Architecture Certification. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but not detrimental if the resource does not have a TOGAF certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect .
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect .
