Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Segmentation Analysis Research Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market segmentation analyses to identify and understand distinct customer groups, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, market research, and strategic thinking to support SayPro’s business objectives and drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Segmentation Analysis: Conduct in-depth market segmentation research to identify and define target customer groups based on various criteria such as demographics, psychographics, and behavior.
- Data Collection and Management: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including surveys, customer databases, and market reports, to generate actionable insights.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive activities to provide strategic recommendations and identify new market opportunities.
- Report Generation: Develop and present detailed reports, visualizations, and presentations on market segmentation findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure alignment of market insights with business strategies and objectives.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations based on segmentation analysis to drive targeted marketing campaigns, product development, and customer engagement strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market research methodologies to continually enhance analysis processes and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Market Research Analyst) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related role with a strong focus on market segmentation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel functions.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
