Position: Finance and Operations Manager

Overview:
Our client is a leading global renewable energy company with decades of expertise within the energy market and presence in over 50 countries. They are currently recruiting for a hands-on and technically savvy Finance and Operations Manager to lead the administrative and finance function in their offices in Mozambique.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and provide regular financial analysis and recommendations to the management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewable energy industry or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
