Motor Assessor Job Description
We are looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Motor Assessor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform desktop assessments, assessing the damage and determining the repair or replacement value of motor vehicles following accidents, collisions, or other incidents. You will play a crucial role in helping our policyholders get back on the road by providing accurate and impartial assessments of the damage to their vehicles.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and negotiate with suppliers in line with SLA
- Alternative parts utilisation: CAP, used and refurbish, knowledge of sourcing of these parts
- Paint Labour and parts ratio knowledge
- Difference in Quotation and FRC
- Abuntex
- Integrated repair negotiating
- Referral savvy
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Completed Matric and one of the following: VDQ / Autobody Refinisher / Automotive Mechanic qualification
- Good knowledge of the repair processes and repair methods
- Insurances
